Aliens vs Predator problem

I am having a problem with avp where offline game saves are not being kept ( or ignored and being deleted or overwritten ) due to steam saying that it has problems synching the files to the cloud server.

The save files ( local ) should have nothing to do with online.

I have the pc version.

Anyone else having this problem?, any suggestions welcome.

This looks like a problem that will require patching. ATM Your games will only save to Steamcloud which means You have to be in Online Mode to save Your progress, Nothing is being saved locally even if You try and save manually...quite a few are having this problem when playing Offline

Looks like this one just got fixed..

Fixed save games being lost or corrupted if connection to Steam is lost or if user switches to offline play
