Definitely! It's racing but it's awesome. I never liked racing games until I tried this. The demo is no good though so just buy the game.

Except it has a habit of corrupting save files, which means you'll be forced to watch that same movie over and over, and do that same race over and frick'n over, even if you just want to do a quick multiplayer race.
Honestly, I'm scared to even start this game now. If I have to see that movie one more time I'm going to gouge my eyes out with a desert spoon.

Honestly the nightly backups thing is only worth it of your still progressing in SP, but still yeah its a good idea.
I know one person uses an automated system backup to grab the files, I do it manually myself.

Using standard Win7 backup feature to a bare drive sitting in a dock connected via eSATA. Switch every couple of weeks to another disk and take the first one to a drawer at work.
The backup includes all of the /users/ directory and isn't specifically watching for Dirt2, but that is where the files are so, hey ... Back on topic: damn, missed the sale! Would have grabbed a copy for my kid at $5. He's just stopped crying in frustration and started winning racing games with a gamepad. Maybe I'll give up being a cheap #$^@ and get him one anyway |
