HELP

Hello i have a question i have a game called RUSE on steam and i tryed to defrag it and it said it cant because my hard drive has to mush fragtation so i drfrag my hard drive and i have done it like 5 times and steam is still telling me it cant defra it i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it with out uninstillind it and reinstilling thanks

Don't bother with the Steam defragmenter for any game that is not stored in gcf format. It doesn't do anything.

salerman i think you were saying on TS that the game wont run and says you must defrag it?

If that's the case, try validating the game files first.

hay guys the game will run and i can play but is run slow but i have given up on it so i uninstilled it now but thank you who posted something to try THANK YOU

You may have tried reducing the graphics settings, e.g. lower screen resolution, turn off anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, dynamic lighting ...

Or you may just need to upgrade your computer ...

hi all i uninstilled it and reinstilled it and it still will not defrag so i dont know whats wroung and i have tried them things i have upgraded my computer but before i did that it ran good anyway so anyway the game runs and i can play it but its just not running normal and steam says there are too many custars and it cant defrag it so run system defrag and i did and it still will not work
