Experiencing Steam Login Problems?
For anyone experiencing a login problem with Steam currently, you may like to try deleting/renaming "Steam\ClientRegistry.blob", forcing it to download the latest update.
I was attempting to log in and after a while getting returned to the login page without any error message. Once I deleted the "Steam\ClientRegistry.blob" it downloaded the latest client updates and I was presented with the new login page, which subsequently worked fine.

I was not connecting tonight for some reason. Tried restarting Steam a couple of times but had 'no connection'. I went to offline mode and then back online and it just worked.
