Default Portal 2 [No spoilers]

Just finished it, have been playing it since release @ 3pm, I just could not stop.

Voice acting is superb, comedy gold just like the first one.
Definately longer than the first, puzzles are a bit easier that the first, more complicated maybe but more straightforward and less abstract.
I found it easier to figure out what needed to be done to clear a room, although doing it is the trick as opposed to portal where I found most of the time was figuring out what needed to be done and then it was easy.
So if you found portal to be frustrating at times, you should enjoy portal 2 more.

Graphically stunning, everything is shinny and well textured, even stuff far off in the distance and the background.

Can't really say much more before giving things away.
And for $50 well I've spent more on dinners that have left me less satisfied.

11/10 Definite contender for GOTY

I just spent a good 4 hours on it and I enjoy all the new additions like the bridges and the gels. Some parts are more like the puzzle solving of Half Life, which are nice little breaks from the "testing rooms". It is very addictive and if it wasn't 2am I would play it until t he end.

I haven't fired up the co-op yet, but hopefully that will give it a bit more longevity than Portal 1.

It's valves best single player game to date IMO. Everything they've learnt so far crafting games is present here and polished to reflect greater depth from every angle. It's also a much bigger leap from Portal 1 in every way compared to their previous sequel (L4D1 to L4D2).

There's also a heap of rave reviews around for it online, the few of skimmed on the major gaming websites have more or less echoed my impressions thus far.

I also think it's creeping into the record books for critical receptions, currently 95/100 on metacritic.

I havent completed it yet... Ive been trying to find all the little secret rooms. Its very cool.

Can't believe they added a Mann-Co type of shop to the Co-op game though...

Well, I've just finished SP, is there a thread of TOG steam ID's for people that might be interesting in Coop?
