Still haven't played the original - even after picking it up for chicken feed on a steam sale one time. This one does sound interesting - hopefully lives up to the claims.

Mate, if you're a console player as much as a PC one - I'd go console for this title What I hear about "we're all for PC" sounds like lip service to me. It looks to be made 100% for the console market, with PC functionality tacked on.

Having said that - I've pre-ordered it on PC anyway

I'm shamed to admit it, but I never played the original either. I was just a teenager at the time and the family PC just couldn't handle it. I played the demo to death (first two levels) and loved it - but any time I'd get into a firefight it'd turn into a slideshow... couldn't do the full game justice.

And now it's too old and ugly to try

Anyway - bring it on!!

I thought the original one was excellent, as cliche as it sounded it actually managed to deliver that futuristic corporate controlled world in a convincing way.

It was also very much a PC shooter, the tactics, stealth, pacing and game mechanics overall, just worried that it has been given the Call of Duty/console treatment.
First impressions from the folks on the PC gamer podcast was certainly not one that the experience delivered here is of the same type as the original but different may not mean bad.

But not a bad price at least given the typical AU ripoff pricing.

PC Gamer UK recent podcast discusses the game for a good hour, multiple people played the first 10 hours of the game, they were certainly very positive across the board.

Deus Ex Human Revolution SDK - Eidos Forums

Seeing as this is a long time Deus Ex community, we need we need all our votes on that thread. Deus Ex 3 is going to be incredible, but it won't be perfect.
Modding can increase replayability, allow modders to make patches when the developer stops, tailor the game to suit anyones tastes.

A SDK is what makes it happen. Modding would be very limited and difficult without an SDK.
Its not asking for much, merely signing up and clicking to have your say. Every little bit helps.

anyways thanks for your time. Lets keep are fingers crossed.

regards TheUnbeholden. Just another Deus Ex fan doing his part.
