Yep. They've added the whole microtransaction scheme to their steamworks portfolio and now that they've "tested it out" on both their userbase and the software/hardware they're ready to roll into it bigtime.

Not sure what to think of this. I've yet to find a F2P game that I actually like, on the other hand I've yet to find a Valve game I didn't like.

League of legends is the perfect example of a F2P game that's implemented well.

If valve follow that model then DOTA2 should be awesome.
