Good fun! Really enjoying this. My friends and me dug down all the way to the Underworld tonight. Man, our asses were handed to us by those imps & the sorceror devils.. We spent nearly 2 hours retrieving our gear and still lost most of it..

I hopped in today with some friends after a very long break, wow they've really been updating this game! So much new stuff in a diverse range of aspects of the game.

Ive been obsessed with Terraria and have been spending a lot of time in-game..

My friends and I stumbled upon the Corruption but we decided to retreat as there was no way to dig through the soil and the chasms were pretty deadly. But we finally discovered the Underground Jungle and man is it fun! Hard, yes, but very rewarding. Ive managed to collect enough spores to craft a Blade of Grass and the arc and damage is great!

Armed with the blade and gold armor the Eye of Cthulu was no match for our group so we are now collecting Meteorite.. Next stop: eater of worlds!

You should be able to dig it up with a gold pick I think.

Try and get a grappling hook, will make exploring those pits a lot easier.
