What a stupid way to try and scam us to pay $90 for SM

Seems like a good deal if you haven't picked up DoW 1 +2 plus the expansions but yeah S.M. is $89 but that's the normal steam price so its not a "ripoff" per say.

I ordered my copy of S.M. from ozgameshop.

That's a lot of money. But there are also a lot of games in that pack. I doubt there are many 40k fans out there that don't have the older DOW series.
Also, a friend of mine and hardcore 40k fan put it to me that here in Australia, it's strange that we feel ripped off on steam purchases, when we live in the top 8 liveable and affordable countries on earth. Kinda puts it in perspective.
It's all about perspective, I suppose.
I come from a double income, mortgaged house hold, with no kids. I can afford this.
Others may not.
However, I have pre-order SM, in the hope that it will be as awesome as the videos promise it is.

I dont think the issue is whether or not you can afford it (most can I'm sure). But why we pay 44% more than the US (in this case).

I ordered SM from gamersgate.

I dont mind paying a fair price for a game - even for a single player game (that is available from "other" sources). $90 for a game is not a fair price.

I have been paying $80-$100 for a long time now, media and download.
I will shop around like the next guy for a disk release, but for me, steam has always been solid ground for my d/l game purchases.
Call me a stooge, but if I really want a game, I'll pay for it.

I thought the demo was decent, especially the jump packs, but what I was really interested in is the co-op which unfortunately has been bumped. Will wait until that's released before I make a decision on it.

I'm with you Sarge. Speccy, sometimes intense and characters look awesome (I thought Mass Effect 2 was impressive).
Yep, Can't wait.
