Default Steam not working for some games

I am having trouble with some steam games. They are: Borderlands, Global Agenda and Portal demo. All 3 are impossible to play as the screen just spins. WASD work ok but that doesn't help when the playing screen is spinning. I've tried every setting I can find but it doesn't help. Anyone got any ideas.

While I'm at it I might as well find out if anyone can tell me how to delete games from my games list.

1. Unplug the conflicting game controller (gamepad/wheel).

2. As in uninstall the game? Right click the game in your list > Delete local content...

spinning screen you say? thats new... is it your charictor spinning, as if the turn key is stuck down? if so try unplugging any joysticks/gamepads you might have, see if that helps.

As for removing games, right click, uninstall, then select "show only installed games".

Thanks. I'll unplug the joy stick. I don't have a game pad fitted.

Joysticks and Game Pads are usually the culprits
