For Aussies, they have "Back to Karkand" for BF3 at only approx AUD$15 which is much better than Origins $25.

This is great! Steam is getting some serious competition. Having the sale before Xmas might steal some sales from Steam's holiday sale. Steam's daily holiday specials are usually more than 20% off though so it might be worth holding off if you can.

Note that Gametap seem a bit patchy on correctly listing DRM attached to games, e.g. Assassins Creed Revelations makes no mention of UPlay, while it does for AC Brotherhood.
