This is a pretty straight forward video on how to construct everything you need for a Quarry on the FTB server. Only thing it doesn't cover is fueling the combustion engines. Beware: They will spontaneously explode...

Well not exactly spontaneously, only if you run them without sufficient cooling. You have to pump water into them at all times, but if you do, they will never explode (unless a creeper gets into your engine room and explodes, which coincidentally happened to me).

weell thats only with Combustion engines, if you use Stirling you don't run cooling because they have not got that option, but there apparently is a bug (now that I read it) where a stirling may blow up while the quarry is setting up......

The best method is to modify a electric engine and run it off a advanced solar cell.
