Server Auto Restarted for a crash, came back for 10 minutes and is now down again (went down around 10 mins ago)

I would again like to put forward the possibility of having someone who can restart the server during EU/US prime time. The restart script is a great idea, but it looks like there are some things it just can't handle. As it is now, a large amount of people are locked out from the game, sometimes almost from the moment Sor/duck goes to bed. Of course I don't expect them to be online all the time, hence why we would need someone else.

And speaking of the restart script, maybe the server needs some time to start before accepting connections? But I don't know if it's possible to add something like that to a script.

It might be better for people to show restraint and wait a little bit, I for one wait about 2 to 3 minutes before joining but notice there are aalways about 3 - 5 of the previous people online.

The crash occurred at the time that the backups are being made. A 20 seconds time delay is made between the server stop and the restart. However, this may not have made a difference last night. The server never stopped in the first place (naughty server) so it had to be mannually rebooted.

We are considering including a EU/US admin in the team. We will get back to you on that.

The server is now back.

Thanks, Sor. I had everything running when the crash occured, and it will be 2-3 hours before I can get back to the server to shut it down.

I assume there is no way to hook into the main game loop of the server? That way it could work as the callback to a watchdog. Whenever a tick takes too long time the server restarts.

Hey, I've just been kicked and can't get back on. Anyone else having trouble? I'm still seeing 2 online...

Edit: Make that 6. Must just be me. I'm getting some strange messages like "End of Stream". All new today. But it must be my end so disregard this (although if anyone has any ideas let me know).
