FTB Mindcrack server restart requests

thought id start 1 thread where we can request restarts to make it easyer.

k anyways I just droped from the server and am now getting "can't reach server"

Sorontar 9th January 2013 06:32 PM

restarting now.

This type of crash should soon be handled by the new script, when one of us has the time to write it. However, as not all crashes will be recognised, this will be a good thread to continue. I have added "FTB" to the title.

Server has crashed again.

We really need someone who can restart it during EU/US time zone.

DarkDuck 10th January 2013 07:59 AM

Yeah sure, I fully understand. But when you come home from work and want nothing more than to play some FTB on the precious few hours left of the day and is received by a non-responding server, then your whole evening gets kind of messed up.

As Sorontar said, the admin team are currently writing and testing scripts to help with this. It is one of the disadvantages of using FTB as it is buggy and crashes a lot. I'm sure you'll agree that having it, even with frequent crashes, is better than not having it at all.

This is why we're considering the FTB server a "test" - these things are things we have to work on, and we appreciate the Division working with us by being patient with things not working as they would like.
