Default FTB version issue.

Tried to install FTB. I d/l installer and installed it. It loaded all mods (so it says) and put me in 1.4.7 mode. I rolled back my FTB version to 1.4.2 and ran the FTB launcher again. I get some prompt to say new mod files are available and i decline that. I then launch minecraft (after setting up a FTB profile) and says there is a version problem. All this is terribly vague so ill post more details soon.

The impression i got was FTB was most happy when i had 1.4.7 but that prevents access to the tog server. 1.4.2 allows access to the server but FTB complains about the retroness of it all. Details to follow.

I have heard tell that FTB doesn't rollback versions well. We hopefully will be updating both servers soon. Stay tuned.

If you downloaded the one linked to in the FTB info threads that should be right, but as you can see in the screen shot in my Beginner's guide to FTB thread, there are a lot of packs the launcher will run. It used to be that the one we use (The Beta pack A) was the first option in the list, so you didn't need to worry about it. Now it's the bottom option. So just scroll down the list on the side, and make sure that the Beta pack is the one selected when you hit launch.

(I've updated the beginner's guide thread to make that a bit more obvious, as it was mentioned on the second page but not the first)
