FTB/Mindcrack world - opening 5pm AEDST Sat

Countdown is on!!! In fact 2 coutdowns are on, I'm currently enjoying the Hottest 100 while counting down to the official opening of the Mindcrack server. So excited! And the best part? It's still super early over here in WA so I can enjoy a few hours of MC before heading out for some Australia Day festivities! What a great day this is turning out to be!

Update from my steam blowing adventures on PS2 while waiting for Mindcrack:

1) Toggers fought a beautifully vicious fight on many fronts, very often 2 against 1.
2) Dewey crashed into a cliff once because he swore he saw a creeper down low at 6 oclock while flying; turns out it was an enemy vehicle (sunderer) that was in free fall after jumping off a cliff, and the camo made it look that way.
3) Dewey crashed into another player once because of ... well just because. I wasn't looking okay?

4) Best damn fight I've ever had with toggers on my wingtips. The end dragon was atrociously frustrating

And finally

5) I am contemplating, with the new mod, a nice trophy area with glowing blocks for the winners of various contests Tog has been involved in...more on that later (and honorable mentions)

I noticed that all my computers and backup disks are clean, it would be great if that could be restored as well

One of the casualties of the new world unfortunately. However had we started from scratch with a completely new world you'd have not only the wiped disks/computers - but also no computers at all - so at least you have them

Yeah I guess, though Irmar said it was only a matter of copying some folder somewhere. But I guess it's possible you've already wiped that folder from the old version.

We are only worrying about restoring the content of the world, not the save files of mods to meet the needs of particular players.

I will simply have to start writing the programs down locally. That way I will always keep a copy.

For those interested I have just found out that if you use R Ctrl + V to paste into computercraft editors without invoking the save/exit/print of the editor. I don't know how this works on the server though (how quickly it can take input), I will check tomorrow. Maybe you have to paste it in smaller chunks.

It's way easier to write it down in notepad and paste into CC anyway.
