Default Mods for Thought

I'm going to use this post to link some mods both cool and also useful.

Some may be liked by many & if so at some point maybe a possibility to be added to our sever.

Please don't hesitate to talk about these mods or add ones here for discussion.

The ability to craft weapons, armour & items from Flint.
Flint Craft

New ore added only to the End, with the option to craft new items.
Ender Ore

A liquid pipe system that is compatible with Buildcraft, RedPower2 & Thermal Expansion.
Liquid Relay

Enderspace changes how the end looks, I am unsure about this one.
Enderspace

Enhanced Visuals for better looking animations & overlays.
Enhanced Visuals

Craft & Enchant
"This mod overrides the output of the enchanting table. instead of getting efficiency, power, fire aspect, etc. you get a new enchant called “slot”. This enchantment doesn’t have any powers, but if you use scrolls and the magic table you can changer slot to whatever enchantment you want. You can also extract dust from enchanted items. Dust allows you to repair enchanted items of the same material without losing enchants!"
Craft & Enchant

Clean Weather adds extra effects with the weather.
Clean Weather

Thanks for sharing these.

Flint Craft is very cool, I like that alot but with all the extra gadgets and tools in Mindcrack I doubt it would get much use passed the early stages of starting out. Definetely going to try that in SP survival though. Be great in hardcore mode.

I also like Clean Weather and enhanced visuals, although I can see myself getting a little annoyed with Enhanced Visuals once I've seen them all a few times or in the heat of battle when theres alot going on.

I enjoy immersive mods and visuals aslong as they dont distract or detract from the usual minecrafty-ness too much.

lol you forget I still run around with no armour and stone tools etc. Night time adventures on the Mindcrack server get me into alot of scrapes with the locals! It usually starts with " oh hey look, havnt seen that *insert dangerous scenario* before "
Infact yesterday I was creeping and slicing through maze creatures in the mystworld with no torches to stop the spawning, I also took on and raided one of the castles the first day it was up, with barely any protection or tools.
Love a good 16-bit brawl

If you want a challenge, check out the Divine RPG mod.

I use it on my single player game, the level of difficulty it adds to the game is insane yet fun.
