You guys are tempting the forum mods to shift these posts to another thread aren't you

My first D&D character was a half-elf ranger in AD&D II, I think. I have no idea what his name was. My favourite was a druid, Brokk Beokson, who (to get back on topic) had the ability to out drink anyone-else, regardless of the fact he had the body of a 15 years old.

Weren't Non-Weapon Proficiencies great

Look out manly beer drinkers - the dice rolling nerds are taking over your thread!

(my first D & D character was Questor the wizard.)

You big bunch of nerds :P

I never played D&D, but my uncle did, and after seeing all his painted figurines, I ordered a bunch of them and painted them up to make myself an awesome fantasy chess set.

My first AD&D character was a dwarven cleric. Dwarves don't have drinking problems, dwarves are drinking problems, at least in the group I played with.

Protip: If you're carrying a large quantity of alcoholic spirits, don't stand too close to the target of your own flame strike spell.

I am actually playing Pathfinder (D&D 3.75) and have a Dwarf Cleric, one slight problem
1) He has an abnormal hatred of Humans, comming from a northern Dwarven Clan whom has had little contact with the humans, he distrusts them, hence his monastery felt he needed to journey with humans to get over this...it's not working.
2) if a quest takes place in an inn, he challenges people to drinking contests, as human beer is like water (soooo weak) he has been known to empty a keg and still roll 20's
