Hi,

First of all I would like to apologise about the extreme lag for around 20 minutes last night.

I was using an Indexer to collect and sort my bees, unfortunately as the server went down on Saturday I was unable to stop my bees or able to empty the indexer. I could not interact with the machine due to lag and even though I tried piping from it, I couldn't empty it.

I then decided it would be a good idea to break the machine, this it was not. I am unsure of how many bees were there but it wasn't much fun. Thanks to Bru1zer, Obsi and Minerduck for saving the day as they all helped to clean up the mess.

Sorry once again and I would strongly suggest keeping clear of the indexer, or at least being careful as to how many you put in there. I am still running one but I only put my current bees I am working on in it.

it happens and no problems, the indexer seems very useful however since it is buggy and has the real ability to destroy the server (I was reduced to 0 fps at Pen's place) so it is requested not to use this device due the the possible server implications.

Just one of those things. Consider you've done some bug testing for the server, and now we know some of the dangers when using that item

If anyone ever has something like that - where the server has shut down, or you're somehow unable to get on - and you think something might get out of hand because it's not switched off....... Or if you have some sort of trouble in game with as build up of items causing lag - just speak up.

If we've closed the server, or you're unable to get on for some reason, we might be able to get in and shut stuff off for you (best if you can give co-ords or some way to get to your place). But we don't know something might be a problem, unless we're told.

If you have a build up of dropped items, that can lag for anyone in the area, making it hard to move or do anything (but it can affect the rest of the server too) - But we can always try to get in there and do something. In that situation we used void/obsidian pipes to get rid of the items. We've had flowing water and other things to deal with in other situations in the past. Sometimes it's easier for someone whose system has a bit more grunt, sometimes there are things a mod can do because they can go into creative mode.

So don't be afraid to ask for help if you have a problem
