Help! Trying to get into mindcraft

I've downloaded the mod as per the help thread. Anyone that can explain this error message?

There is a strange bug where you can not download v7 first.

First, download the most up-to-date version of mindcrack, then quit. After that, you will be able to choose the v7 one.

Put this copy of additional pipes in your instmods - I find using the zAdditionalClientPipes doesn't work on some setups.. (and take out zadditionalclientpipes)

Also, make sure you put in the GuiAPI even though it says optional.

These two steps fixed up the last issues I had connecting to the server after putting the other mods in.

I found that you should run the game on recommended first and download all updates, than run the second time and limit to Version 7, Then join the TOG server and it should work perfectly.

Of course make sure you have installed all the required mods that we also run that aren't in the standard Mindcrack Pack.

Thanks for all advice. However, I have had to remove the link supplied by BlackD. While I understand it is for good intent, the Admin team is unable to find any redistribution permission for that mod. Consequently we have to treat the link as advertising an unapproved copy of software, which is against TOG rules, so the link has been removed.

We understand that because of buggy Mindcrack and mod software, the division's players need to help each other out in a variety of ways. However, TOG cannot be seen as aiding such activities by publishing links that are copyright breaches (especially in the public forum of the division). However, players are welcome to say things along the lines of "PM me if you have problems with X".

If you can find redistribution permission for that mod, we are happy to return the link.
