This is a server side fix not client side.

Backup and delete this file next time the server has maintenance
%\Mindcrack\%worldname%\computer\lastid.txt

I believe the problem with the computers is that they had id's existing in the old world on FTBbeta and the new world Id's have reset and are getting a duplicate mismatch, deleting this file should effectively "have you tried turning it off and on again" reset all the existing computers and the new ones should now work.

Hopefully this will make the computers work again and bring my doughnut total up to 2.

I'll backup the file later tonight and do a restart if the server is quiet. Could a few people post in here tomorrow and let me know if anything is fixed or if i need to put the original file back. Cheers.

lastid.txt was totally empty so i just renamed it, and will see what happens next reboot.

If this doesn't work could it be that there were computers already in the world when it was "created"? That the way to fix it would be to "un-label" any labeled computers, and break and repackage all computers? Go back to a blank slate so to speak?
