Help Updated Mindcrack

I had backups unfortunately I had the wrong backups so when I updated mindcrack to version 8 to check out the extra bee stuff and wanted to come back it all stuffed up.

Long story short I tried to remove FTB from my computer, from uninstallers to registry cleaners of which I use regularly & know how to use. didn't seem to work and I am now unable to change mindcrack pack back to v7 as it now stays constantly at v8.1.1

help would be appreciated, i'm on mumble as well if someone could help me there as well

I thought if you changed the "recommended" pulldown to 7, you could still connect even if you'd updated to 8..... so that's not working?

Yeah it says Mindcrack V8.1.1 however it seems like i've fixed it, because in game it says mindcrack V7.

I though you could just rename the mindcrack folder and download it again at whatever version u like?

It works now after the reinstall, previously I had tried all of the above to no avail until a fresh reinstall, I had changed so much when I was working with the mods.

The spaghetti mess of files wasn't worth untangling.
