well i've given things a quick test, quite a funny game, good LAN fun imo
the server is a bit unstable, it crashed 3 times tonight

it's currently running Snatch (ctf) with bots making up numbers if no human players around... the server fills fast if a few enter it though

i haven't tweaked the rate setting yet
it seems a bit laggy even with a good ping

server name is nedPOSTAL2
(hopefully it will last a day without crashing, may be a LAN only game this one)

yeah this game is best for LAN only.. I'm experiencing lags and I can't kill my enemies because they teleporting maybe it's my connection or the others.

@Ned I can't find your server is there any easy way to find it?

server likes to crash on map changes, probably wasn't running when you were looking
i'll check this issue out a bit further

get xifre and let me know when you want to use it and i'll fire it up

i found that out during the week!
The Classification Board and Classification Review Board

i actually phoned the OFLC early in the week to ask if this free multiplayer version of postal 2 was illegal to play in Aus and no one could answer me lol

they eventually took my number and said there would call me with the answer... still no word

i'll call them tomorrow (friday) if i haven't heard anything
i'll post the answer when i get it

well they couldn't give me an answer either way

they said they would have to look into it further as it would depend what was on offer in the mp version compared to the original sp/mp game that received the RC rating
