Default OMG SOFII recruitment drive!

I might have to play the odd game just to see what all the fuss is about But where the hell would I still find a copy?

If ppl convert from SOFII to ET, going the other way must not be that hard...

Hi mate, SOF2 copies are rare at the moment. Production was stopped quite a while ago and it's no longer supported. I know of a shop in Brisbane where the owner recently had about a dozen copies saved only for people keen on playing Multi-player. He doesn't even have them on the shelves - LOL.

If you want to try before you buy then get yourself a pirated copy and a key-gen and play on Optusnet. They have disabled key checking in the Punkbuster server settings. This is because the game is no longer supported and because of diminishing players (so I was told).

Learning SOF2 is much easier than learning ET!!
There are many major differences though... I"ll chat to ya next time on TS about it all. Have a look at the trailer - http://www.theoldergamers.com/module...ewtopic&t=6639

I've seen a few copies in Melbourne - some discounted or rereleased by one of the budget labels.

I can get one and post it if you want. Let me know.

The game is 2 years old and it is difficult to find the game on the shelves anymore. Probably your best bet if you ask some (former?) TOG SOF2 members and see if they are interested in selling (or lending their CD to you).

UPDATE: GA has the MP demo, it is slightly different to the current game since we are up to patch 1.3 and OSP patch 0.3k.

Wow, the demo was released on 18-4-2002, I have been playing SOF2 for nearly 2 years.

Basie,
Do you have EB, "Electronics Boutique" in NZ?. If you do they should e able to harness you a copy.

Or maybe even EBAY ey?, no doubt there are many of us here that could get you a copy if you want ..

I picked mine up for $25 8O ... Wish I got it earlier now, head shots are so much fun ..
