![]() It appears to be in good condition - you only need a 4WD or a good tow bar to right that baby and then it's as good as new. I took a peek inside and the ammo's still there and the guns are primed. What a steal! (My tank barrel is protruding from the right) |

I intend to maintain a "picture gallery" but not sure if I should make it a linked web page or what but here it is for now - BF screenies and moments in history. |

You don't EVER want to get into Sleighty's bad books ....
![]() You can tell by the following chat that Sleighty's team weren't pulling their weight (pub server of course). The green btw is what happens when you set up a BUDDY. Their ARROW on the map turns green, the text is green and their tag goes all psychadelic in the game. It's good for keeping a squad together. |

Bit off topic Fox, but when you've set a buddy, does it persist from game to game/session to session?

I don't know for sure but it should persist (I don't have many friends after all).
You'll find an entry like this :- game.addPlayerToBuddyListByName "TOG | Sleighty" in your C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\Custom\buddylis t.con folder. Custom is the name of my profile (I have a 2nd movie making profile with different settings). You can edit this file, or type it in at the console. |

Sure - I could do one.
The problem is that my buddy list changes all the time. During ladder matches, I put just the 3 or 4 ppl on my squad in the buddy list and then I change it when we have the next match. You're right - for pubs it certainly lets you gang up on unsuspecting public. |

Resurrecting this thread:
Last night's BoB match, in the previous Axis round I'd capped the gold flag. Then came this little beauty of a round. Every time I'd drop a bomb I found a team mate: ![]()

Now that the Buddy List is a sticky and there are enough players interested in using it, you can always find the most up to date list in the forums.
Just copy and paste it into notepad and save it as Buddylist.con in your profiles folder. When you first join a game, the program automatically tries to add all your buddies. Type ~ at the start and you will see all the failed messages when the game tries to add in buddies from the list who are not currently in game. Making a short cut to the folder will allow you to open it up and add the appropriate version of the Buddylist.con for your use (ie. Your squad (For ladder matches), All TOG Members (in pub games)) when you need it. I have a buddylist for each occasion in a different folder and simply copy and replace the existing list as required. |
