gPotato Presents ALLODS! Hi everyone,

If you downloaded the Allods client before midnight (12am Pacific Standard Time) on Monday, February 15th, you will need to go through the following steps to make your client open beta ready. Also, if you participated in any of the closed betas, this most likely affects your client. You will not be able to update your client through the normal launcher patching process.

1. Download the Allods open beta update here: http://allods-ftp.gpotato.com/OBupdate.exe
2. Run the open beta update from any directory (be sure to close the launcher before running the update!)
3. Re-open the Allods Online launcher
4. Download the latest updates and enjoy the game!

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Due to some changes with the open beta version of the client, we had to go through this manual update process. Everyone who downloaded the client on February 15th (PST) or later will not need to go through this process.

If you are having trouble with this update process, please completely uninstall your version of the game and reinstall the new version from: http://gpotato.cdnetworks.net/US/All...Downloader.exe

oh man, I was expecting more, heh, well the update is quick now just have to wait till 11am PST 16th February, so back to a day and a wake up. I'll probably be still asleep when the servers open at that time, or not.

The patch server seems to be online. I was able to patch to version 1.0.05.41 this evening after downloading and installing the Open Beta Update Tool this morning following instructions online.

yeah, I figured it was just a matter of waiting till someone got in the office to turn on the server, so the updating starts.
When I got up today I just went straight to Allods launcher and started it, and it started it's updating like it was meant to , :) heh then I went to the forums to see what kinda response to my irrational post I made. I was a bit upset of the lack of intelligent responses earlier and kinda lashed out.:w

any ways I am ready now for the servers to play the game to be turned on :bighappy:
