Tribes 2 is back

On November 3rd, 2008 Vivendi shut down the official Tribes 2 listing and authentication servers.
On January 2nd, 2009 tribesnext.com rocks.



Multiplayer Patch (1.4mb)

1. Already have the game? Apply this patch to restore online functionality.
   Please note that this is a BETA release, and report any bugs to our forums.
   
2. Unpatched Full Version (539mb)
   
   Don't have the game yet? Download the full version of Tribes 2 here. You will need to download the patch above in addition to this to play online.

God I loved that game!

First game that got me into the whole "join a clan" scene, I think for a while I even ran our team, we were on the TWL ladder ... :)

Loved that game. Shame they stuffed up T:V.

We had an admin mod on GameArena... we could drop Havocs onto players, or strike them with lightning.... especially fun to sky rocket them into the stratosphere and let them fall... :)

Tried to have a game of this the other night and noone was playing on any servers with decent pings :(

I'm happy to host some games when my server eventually gets back online. I was hoping to have it back online by mid Jan but it's now looking like towards end of Feb.

I'll post back when it happens :)

www.bittah.com, you'll find the few remaining tribers around there, they do PUGs once in a semi-regular while (tuesdays?). Check the tribes forum.

I Loved Tribes 1 and Tribes 2. Thanks for the link... tho I still have both CDs here. :)
