Toggers play AVA or Blackshot?

What time are you guys playing? Give me your local time and timezone and I can figure it out from there.

My playtimes vary from around 7:30PM - 10:30PM AEST, also sometimes at around 8:30AM-9:30AM AEST.

AVA just advised its servers are going down for work for a bit.

jump in the combat arms channel, we can use the blackshot subchannel if no ones using it.

The notice mentioned a 3hr downtime.

Yes, the servers are down, which means I will be FAST asleep by the time you guys are on Ho hum, another time suppose!

Tried AVA, but it's US servers only and it's far too laggy for FPS in Australia. You can hit people but it just feels horribly flakey.

I've yet to see any of these types of games (like Combat Arms) approach the smoothness and tight/fast gameplay feel that you get from playing on locally hosted servers with games like Counter Strike, TF2, Modern Warfare ect...

I live in hope that one day we'll get a decent persistent shooter to match the likes of locally hosted server based games, but AVA is not it...
