So stoked about the beanie. When I playfully made fun of the cash shop selling fancy hats, I wasn't expecting them to say "hey, that's a good idea" and give out actual hats. And if I'm gonna wear a hat, it's gonna be a beanie so things went well.

Long story short, just paid $75 for $120 worth of ingame currency, lifetime XP boost for me and anyone who squads up with me, a limited edition skinned LGV, BEANIE and some other stuff. THe pack value is normally $100 but the 25% off special for pax weekend is still on, if you hurry.

The LGV bike is supposedly an original design unavailable to anyone that didn't buy the gold mem founders. Max xp boost % is supposedly 15% which is what I've seen. With enough people getting the gold mem, f2players can enjoy the max boost if they party up with 2 people that did pay.

I got the gold mem too, mostly for the swag. I wish I didn't spend fifty gees already to only buy a monocle. I'm hoping the Cash shop gets good so I can spend the loot. So far, I've only a pet, tiki pole, some fireworks (a waste), and the monocle. I don't need the garage slots currently as I only play assault, nighthawk, and engi. I'll make a new chick toon for the other 2 classes but.. meh

I've put the game down somewhat I wait for pve milestone. Funny thing was, I just now decked out my sniper with pretty good gear and got some good mats and NOW, I don't really care too much about the game. Everyone is so easy to get compared to prepatch. PVP, though, went from rewarding to, "if you'd rather not thump for xp/mats, you can always try this."

Been using the public TS with randoms I've grouped with quite a bit this week. I spent a couple of weeks after the milestone redoing the intro missions over and over, resetting, going again, chasing metrics and gathering data for feedback. Now? Oh boy. Hello T2 frames!

Got my T2 Assault and Engi going now, and I'm halfway along the upgrade path for my assault. Crafted upgrades are so, so much win. Added printed jumpjets, servos and afterburner ability to my fast mover. I can now do a standing jump from the battleframe garage near the nanoprinter, over the PvP totem pole, over tha gap in the houses and over the glider pad. It's huge! Or jump from Spicy Als, over the buildings and down to the PvP totem pole. Can also scale every single high point in the game with jets left to burn. The difference between crafted T2 upgrades and a stock T1 frame is chalk and cheese.

Been going out in squads of 4, dropping two improved thumpers near the melding and absolutely killing it for XP and resources. Being able to automatically give a 10% boost to squad members is a sweet deal, too. The more they add to this game, the more I'm liking it. And when armies kick in, it's just going to get better again. If you like the idea of an open world shooter, you will totally love this game.

Just burnt out doing the same thing over and over again. I have both t2 recon gears and noticed I ahve both engi and assault t2's unlocked and I REALLY don't want to thump again. What's the point when I already have enough good resources to make the gear that I want to make off the bat but have to unlock the nano well near the end of the branch to get it? Yet with the boosts, xp comes monsterously fast, solo or otherwise. IDK if I can will myself into more hrs of the same thing.

But it's beta, I sure hope to get more use of a squad or army b/c currently there would be zero to do.

The PvE update should add a lot to the game, given what the restart did (a hell of a lot of work done there). Glad to see Phobos has said the xp bonus is okay, but I don't think it's a big issue, we're currently capped at T2 (my Recluse has enough XP to get the black widow instantly atm) and most of my other frames are high tier 1 to mid tier 2 anyway (one of each bar recon, not much of a sniper).

Found one of my invites never stuck so after sending one to a Togger, I still have 2 buddy keys to give away, PM must include your email for prompt sending (Firefall doesn't provide keys, we nominate a mail addy and they send the info to it).

disagree. there is a way to stop it. don't farm there. elegantly simple. now we just have to get the self entitled XP farmers to think of someone other than themsel... Oh I see what you're saying now, that won't work, because of people like you. Gotcha.

Me. But I'm not a selfish person, so I doubt you'd understand my motivation in not exploiting broken code that lags the game to a halt. Maybe you should stop signing up for betas, if you can't exercise some simple restraint. People who only think of themselves are more of a liability than an asset anyway.
