Not for a while, I remember having some good games with this as long as the server you were playing on had a decent setup. I used to run 2v2 TDM comp nights which were a lot of fun.. was always good to play at LANs as well. And, the singleplayer part of game is still to this day the creepiest game I've played, well worth a look!

• NOTE: there's an issue with modern computers and this game engine that cause unplayable lag, regardless on how powerful your rig is. Here's the fix that worked for me.

i just searched the forum for fps and apparently someone did find the fix a while ago.
It was this:
go to start > control panel > hardware and sound > device manager > Human Interface Devices
now at the point, there should be some misc. HID that should be disabled. for me, i right click on every HID and went to properties. clicked on the driver tab and clicked driver details. if you get a box saying" no driver files are required or have been loaded for this device" disable that HID. This small fix fixed my framerate drop and hopefully it will work for you.
It does work and now my PC plays FEAR flawlessly with Max Settings.
