Anyone playing War Rock?
 

Hi All,

I downloaded War Rock yesterday and installed but have not been able to find any servers. I have registered and logged in etc, just does not seem to be any servers up anywhere.

I went to check the war rock forums but the link appears to be dead. Can anyone please help me out, I have no idea what I have done wrong?

And no I have my firewall off so that cant be the problem :(

ok the Official client is out now, however they still have no Aus servers :(

I was playing this a bit at the end of last year. Have not played in a while though so I am not sure about the server issue.

One thing I do not understand though. K2's games are free to download and play. Yet, they are also selling retail boxes for them. Do the retail boxes come with something "extra" that you would normally buy via the in game system?

yeah they have this Premium account idea now that gives you extras above and beyond what you get on a free account. I think the retail box gives you a code that gives you a premium account for 30 days or something like that.

I was just having a read in the internode forums and there are a couple of people having the same problem. when no servers display its because there are none in your region. of course you cant change to say you are form america though because they blank it in...
Internode have asked about hosting servers but havent heard anything.
if someone can point me in the way of some server files theres a possibility i can get something up and running as i quite enjoyed this game too.

I imagine they woudl keep a close reign on the servers being setup specially now they have the whole Premium account stuff??

i tried to register a while back but never received a response
if they can't even get that right then i have doubts on them making a game

I finally got a response, it was a simple We do not have any servers in your region at teh moment response and they closed the support query without even a hint as to whether (and if so when) they may have servers down this way.

I give up for now, if anyone finds that they do indeed have servers down here at some stage let me know as I am still interested in playing it, but I give up for now.
