I think you're a little too hard on the game. The combat is fun and active, the highly stylized graphics are appealing, and over the top immaturity is addressed in the plot of the game. It may not suit all tastes, but that's part of the appeal to me... remember when computer games were very varied and really weird?

I freely admit that I'm a pretty tough marker. I definitely don't corrspond to the seemingly standard 80/100 = mediocrity scale the gaming journalism industry propagates.

I like to think I hold gaming to the standards to which it should aspire.
