You'll need two downloaded files, one for the "core" and one for the "levels". They've split them up for ease of access and downloading, but they need each other to work. All up they come to just over 2GB. Available from most major download sites.

Project Reality also have some community made mini-mods that may help newbies to the game.

The first is a "Training Mod" that essentially places ALL weapons and vehicles on a couple of maps, and reduces spawn times and "requirements" down to just about zero. Normally you'd be looking at fifteen minutes respawn time on the jets helo's and armour, but here it's seconds only. Great way for learning how to fly!



Secondly, there's a Single Player mod. Not tried this one yet, but apparently it's very good. If single player is how you like it, this is the mini-mod for you!

I had a quick look at this mod and I'm VERY impressed. Some nice features. The wiki info site is also a big plus. The creators of Project Reality have done a terrific job. I'm keen on checking out the 'training mode' too, thanks also for that link!

No worries mate. I'm led to believe that the training and single player components will be included in the next (v0. release. Hopefully by the time we get to v1.0 we'll see all of the community made additions seamlessly incorporated, such as the Aus Army! Way cool!

Still a great game, very different from the v0.5 days, even to the point of saying it's even harder now! But it's all for the greater goal, and it's that much more rewarding now. Still loving it!
