I recently got into the Atlantica closed beta and wanted to share some of the details about the game here for the TOG community. Please use this thread to discuss my article.

Thanks, it was a fun experience to do this. Not to mention I was very happy the NDA for the game was lifted for a contest to let me talk about so much of the material.

I just installed it and played for a couple hours today. I like it. Lots of complexity. I was surprised to find all the options.

I haev also installed this. I had a brief bash for about half an hour before i had to pop out for abit. Thi sis the first of these so-caled free MMORPG's I have had a go at (trying hti snad Perfect World International when the client is released) and it was abit of a strange thing for me to get used to. The old style combat system is cool though, reminiscent of all those old rpg's i played on the snes.

Will endeavor to give it a go later this weekend. If anyone wants to hook up and play just drop us a PM.

One thing though. The community has currently been up in arms about the stamina system that was introduced in CB2, and even though certain aspect have just been chaged this week there is still a lot of dissent. So if you run across some cranky ppl that is why for the most part.
