Thank you, I just hope that it helps people learn more about whats going on here in Australia. This is getting little coverage in our media, with a lot of misconceptions confusing our citizens.
Funnily enough I do address censorship in America later. A Pennsylvania Judge ordered content to be banned from the from America's Internet (from memory, I think in 2005, check later parts of the article yet to come). It was later overturned by a higher court in part because; (a) was ineffectual, and (b) unconstituitional in regards to the first amendmant (free speach).

It's getting heaps on coverage form internet based media and in free print press media but very little televised coverage. Thats where the rallies and street protests come in, they get televised coverage which in turn help to inform the masses of liberally uninformed. Sign up for them, turn up, make a difference.

the problem is that the governments ALREADY control what is put on the TV.. now they are turning towards what can and cant go on the internet, its funny how when people don't know whats happening the government can get away with whatever it wants. its good to see there are still people that are willing to tell the truth about whats happening. IMHO this article should be submitted to all the major news feeds in your country !

Well I think it is better to try than not try at all. There is way too much internet access which is harmful to children and too many parents that don't even care.
I see the result of alot of this kind of stuff in my previous role as a Comp Technician in a school and also my current role as a pastor. Porn addiction has a devastating effect in marriages, relationships, youth (mostly boys) and young kids. We now have young kids being involved in sexual abuse cases, and they are learning stuff way too early. Let them be kid's for goodness sake. The moral values have greatly declined over the last two decades, and it is annoying now that you cannot even buy a mainstream FPS game without the 'F' word. Please don't label me as an old fashioned, fundamentalist. I just remember a slightly better childhood, which didn't allow me to see adults engaged in oral sex every day.

Fantastic Article Reoh.
More coverage is needed. I thought the media would have jumped all over this one. ![]() Cannot understand why they are not listening. NO Mr Rudd this is a bad move! If this gets through and we get cencored I'm calling him, Mr Dudd

Thanks for taking the time and effort to make everyone aware of what our government is trying to impose on all Australians.

dude,
to contrast CHaPLaiN's aruguement I think that growing up in this age will allow for these kids to learn faster and adapt quicker to what is asked of them. yes they will end up sacraficing some things that probably shouldn't have to be sacraficed. But its on the parents to moniter there kids. /story. In the end the greastest role model for a child is there parents whether or not that seems like it. think about . how many times have you heard, "she takes after her mother" or vice versa. __________________________________________________ _________________ Hello I'm from a new forum called Epicboards.net and we were looking for new members, we talk a bout basically everything and nothing at the same time, so come join us. www.epicboards.net |
