Awesome write-up Skoash - makes me wanna play hooky and sign on. tsk tsk
FYI, there a few GW players out there who have Buddy Keys available for the free trial period (available to existing TOG members whose membership began Nov 15 or earlier only). |

Please forgive my not knowing where to post this note to TOG....Hello...I am Lady Kingel of the ULGG and we are dropping by to send you congrats on becoming GOTW. You should be very proud of this wonderful honor. I did try to start a new topic for this but was unable to do so...so I have posted here.
Please do enjoy this lovely willow basket of lemon tarts from our entire alliance. Perhaps you might find many similarities over at the ULGG...come and see what we are all about... again...heartiest congratulations to TOG...a most deserved honor. Most warmly to all, Lady Kingel

Lovely write-up Skoash...well done! Beautifully written up. Hopefully we'll pull a few more players into Guild Wars with this....
Thanks Lady Kingel for the congratulations. We are very proud of our little Guild Wars community here, which is only part of the larger TOG one. It's lovely to have a congrats from another guild though, thankyou! I will have to mosey on over and have a squizz at your guild =). P.S. The lemon tarts were scrumptious thankyou. But errr...was I supposed to pass them around? Oops! If you want to post the recipe up I can put in our cooking forum so all those who missed out after my little binge can have a try =) lol. Thanks again! |

Excellent write-up. Most definitely the devs are very in touch with the player community... a great many enhancements and new features are in response to popular request. At the same time I admire them for not downright pandering.
While I enjoyed Nightfall thoroughly, I must say that the greatest share of my time has gone into developing and outfitting my heroes. They have been a great boon, as I am a very reluctant PUG'er. Generally speaking I used to prefer the predictable (if lacking) performance of the henches to a more volatile PUG mix. With the addition of heroes, suddenly all 3 campaigns have become much more accessible. For instance, I was finally able to put the finishing 2% on my Tyrian GM Cartographer title - 10 months in the making! I hero/henched my way through all of the Factions missions and managed Masters without exception. These guys are up to any task, save the optional/elite areas of the game. So, Kudos to Anet for giving us some reliable workhorses to get the 'job' done, while providing an engaging and stimulating environment where we can wreak havok with our friends! |
