Superb stuff, I just got in after the day from hell and that put a huge grin on my face. I recognise and have used many of the tactics in the article, the one big problem I used to have was when the wife and I used to work quite different hours which gave me a lot of gaming time but also got me in trouble if the chores didn't get done. One thing I noticed though is that I could spend 5 hours gaming but as long as I had my hands in the kitchen sink when she walked through the door I was fine, but if I did 5 hours of chores and was sitting at my PC when she walked in, I would be in all kinds of trouble

I have found that fine balance
, it took sometime to work it out & it's worth it.Being on Holidays atm & SWMBO is at work, I have been doing the washing, house work, extra things about the house, keeping the kids amused 7 still managing to game during the day. When my lovely wife gets home, the house is clean & sparkling, everything is done, dinner is either ready to go or just about. The first words she utters are "Oh you've done so much, you know you are on holidays, take it easy" Being the perfect, loving husband, I say, "You are working, so I'll do stuff at home for you". Then there is absolutely no issue with having a full night of gaming. I do also apply this technique to regular times. Have to agree with giving up the TV remote & Cable/satellite Tv is very helpful as well . |

Love it.
Fits and giggles reading through it. So true on so many levels. If you're not married, don't even think about it If you're thinking of kids, get a vasectomy.

Part Two . . . .what a great read. I'd show it to my TONG wife but I doubt she'd see the funny side.
I don't like it when she says "Are you Togging today??" . . .even though I know she does it for a stir!! And as for my new TOG cap . . . let's not even go there I'm only alowsed to wear it while I "TOG"She tolerates it but just doesn't get it. . . . . . .
