Condolences from Drunkards In Combat.

From what I just read about DK he was exactly what the internet and online gaming is lacking, a great and genuine bloke who valued being part of an organization of mates.

I am truly stunned and shocked at this news. It was always a joy to come across one of DKs contributions to a thread and I cant count the times I genuinly laughed out loud reading his posts. I never met the fella, but my life was the richer for him being in it. I'll raise a cold one for him later!

A very well written artical Fidds, straight from the heart and really does sum up DK. A dear friend who I will never forget even though I never met him in the flesh he was there for me through some of the worst parts of my life. I never really thought you could make a true friend on the internet, how wrong I was.

Although I never had the privilege of talking to, gaming with, or visiting on the forums with DK, I must say anyone who so deeply touched my friends and acquaintances here truly was a great guy who really knew how to live.

Sadly this is not a dream. No one will ever replace him or even come close to him. Who else would have the balls to open a conversation with a stranger with a few four letter words.....
He brought something special to our family and our lives. I have known him almost all my life. He knew when I was coming over as he would think about cooking a roast (a plate was always on the table for me). He was just always there for you, for anyone. I will miss that 'wanna beer?' when we visit now.

We will really miss him, but he has left our lives full of unforgetable memories -memories that I make sure I will never forget.
