Very well written, funny and true! I bonded with my son, now 18, over Daggerfall. Now my 3-yr-old grandson stands quietly at my shoulder watching me play LOTRO. I talk to him about what I'm doing, and even though he's too young to really understand, he enjoys the interaction. Better than plopping him in front of the TV.

Great read...reminds my of my 2 year old lil girl sitting on my knee watching me play CS : S (only thing that keep her from crying from the age of 1 up)...i would pull the noob canon out scope up and wait.....she would tell me b4 i seen em some times.....then my wife seen this and boy did i get told about it :P........but lil Miss said to her mum "they have red names so its ok"

Now its about the wiggles and barbies and BF2 just is not the same as CS and she gets bored watching that...nags at me to let her play her barbie game. which being a father of blonde hair blue eyed lil girl...i just can not say no

That article is so true .The thing my middle one use to do was shuffle up in his table and chair and BLANK SCREEN .Eventually he blew the power supply ....(great excuse for a new case too ) hehe. Its is also quite embarissing haveing you eldest (2 at the time ) sitting on your lap for hlf an hr ,having gr8 fun pressing the space bar cause it makes your character jump up and down .

Nothing my 5 and 8 year old love doing more than telling me how they 'kicked the butt' of the evil Mordor hordes.

They seem to be addicted to the world of Lord of the Rings and WarHammer (Dawn of War).

lol very funny.
Problem I have found is that (I have 3 boys) they all want there own pc, cause the others are on there for too long, then when that happins its a fight for the best rig, not only do they want more games, they all so want other consoles, so theres more games.
I'm just waiting for the day that they all have a full time job :P

This was a great read (as my three yr old daughter fusses at me for asuming an uncomfortable position for her so I can type) She's on my lap now, and that makes it even more obvious how I can relate. I found this very intertaining and quite a good chuckle. Thanks for this one!
