I'm waiting for the Fallout 3 GOTY details as follows:

Quote:
Additionally, we are also pleased to announce that Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC) will be available at retail on Tuesday, October 13th. The Game of the Year edition includes Fallout 3 and all five DLCs. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will retail for $59.99 USD and the Games for Windows version will be available for $49.99 USD.
I have seen details of a 15 October release in Australia and a $100 price tag but the following might be of interest from Kotaku Website.

Quote:
For those unaware, the Fallout 3 Game Of The Year edition comes out in a couple of weeks. October 15, to be precise. It bundles together the original game plus the five DLC episodes – Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta – all in the one box. It’s coming for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
The RRP is $99.95. But CDWow are flogging it right now for $66.95 AUD on console and $60.05 AUD on PC. That’s about what you’d pay just for the DLC if you bought them individually over PSN and Live.
Some saps (like me) have spent nearly $200 on Fallout 3 all told. So yeah, this is a pretty good deal.
CDWOW indicates Free Shipping cost but could take 5 - 7 days for delivery. None received items are investigated after 21 days.

Okay so JBHIFI are selling for the normal price as far as I can see.

That is making me think twice about buying from CDWOW who by chance have dropped their price again. PS3/XBOX is $60.95 and PC is $47.95 for the GOTY. Impressive pricing for sure.

Kotaku Website had the details originally concerning CDWOW.

Never bought from them before but at a saving of $40 on the RRP I'm definately tempted.

Blimey PM where do you find the time

I was thinking of getting Fallout on PC as most i have spoken to have said that is the system to get it on (mainly due to mods which i would be clueless about) yet having listened to the TOG podcasts i think i might just get the PS3 version at least then i know it wont crash and just play correct out the box.

LOL I don't.

Usual scenario is I buy the game with delusions of finding time to play and if I am real lucky I get through the first couple of levels. Then my son plays the games, tells me how they were and then I trade them in on new games. "Rinse repeat"

I usually buy games for their multiplayer features. I only finish a single player game if it really grabs my attention (like inFamous for instance) and I can spare the time.
