I downloaded the demo for this on the weekend. I find Jack Black somewhat humorous so I thought I would check it out. My firswt impression was flashbacks to Lucas Arts Full Throttle. Low and behold it was written by the the same Guy Tim Schaeffer of the Monkey Island fame.
Anyway I loved the demo. It is a relativley simple hack and slash type scenarion but it was a hell of a lot of fun.
The start up screen was Cranking Judas Priests Electric eye and even better when the game actually stated Black Sabbath was Cranking as I Axed the demons in the head and then zapped with my Electric Guitar.Motor Head wieghed in at one pint
From the Demo this game is heaps of fun. The story looks cool with plenty of humour and from what I can tell from the movie at the end of the demo the worl this is set in is big.
I would have to say check it out.

I picked this one up last week. Got some great humor and plenty of tributes to classic heavy metal. Nie rewarding open world exploration, too. I would say that if you didn't have the money to shell out for it (because of the flood of excellent games due out soon) the game is at least a must-rent title.
