Play Band Hero using Rock Band instruments?
Hey guys, I have the PS2/PS3 instruments for Rock Band. Has anyone tried playing Band Hero with them? Hoping will be compatible rather than buying a second guitar and drums. Thanks...

I know it does the other way (Guitar / Band Hero to Rock Band) so I can't see why not. The only thing is I think the Drum kit on Rock Band does not have the same number or places to hit as the Guitar Hero one does.
Also does your guitar have the slider in the neck? Not essential but is used in Guitar / Band Hero.

Found this useful guide... Instrument Compatibility // Rock Band
The curse of singstar continues for me. I bought one singstar disk and some mics to try out a year ago, loved it... 10 disks later i'm looking for something new. Bought Rockband with the Fender Strat... again, loved it. Now going out today to grab Band Hero, maybe even guitar hero world tour, and a second (compatible) guitar, but will need to upgrade to a PS3 to play the Beatles. Oh the damage to my wallet continues...

I bought the Guitar Hero world tour band set for my 40th birthday tomorrow, so now have 2 guitars (one with the slider), 2 different drumkits (one with a pair of cymbal pads) , 2 mics, rockband, world tour, and band hero. That will keep me and the family busy for a while... haha.
