PS3: Saboteur

Howdy,

Can someone share an opinion or two about this game? Apparently it was supposed to be good, some kind of more realistic and european clone of GTA IV? I'm tossing a coin whether to buy this game or not so your feedback, feelings, emotions etc. would be good to read.

Overall it's great fun, there's a lot of variety in the missions and the sandbox play is pretty cool as there's literally hundreds of targets to be destroyed although it does get very repetitive. Graphics are great, characters I found somewhat bland due to them being such standard stereotypes, thought the voice acting and dialogue were cheesy, story was predictable and cliche. Was quite short too. But the gameplay itself is extremely fun, nothing like sneaking into a nazi base in disguise, planting a heap of explosives then walking out and detonating.

I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price, if you can get it cheap then it's worth a go, or just rent it. Also there probably won't be any DLC for it as planned due to the company who made it being shut down right after release.
