While I was sceptical about this game, I have found it a lot of fun.

While it is not as "good looking" as MW2 for example, it plays well, you can customize your character and the dedicated servers makes for lag free fun.

If we could fill an 8 man squad with TOGers (with head sets) we would be very competitive.

I have not had a chance to fully explore the game yet. Can you have more than one character (for example one for each faction)?

You can only create one character, so you can't play multiple factions. Once you hit max level (60), you go into Veteran Mode which let's you switch factions.

Ahh ok, thanks.

So if we want to start a TOG MAG Squad ... which faction should we be?

Hope to get mine this week but will hold off on picking a fraction until we know which way we are heading

The game has played flawlessly for the most part. I had one issue of server/network drop out during a game but then it was back up within 1 minute.

I wasn't sure which faction people had selected so I went with Raven.

Let me know what factions your in and maybe we can get a clan sorted.

I have to admit during game play my character was placed in all three factions at one point or another so I don't think it's really a big problem.

So far I can only get into 32 v 32 games not sure why I can't see the bigger one's unless they need to be unlocked based on level. Maybe someone else might know.

See you in game.

At first, I believe the only map available is the 16v16, where you play against your own faction. The other modes get unlocked as you progress, and the final 256 player maps are available at level 8 I believe it is.

Yep your right. Into it big time. Thanks guys.

I went with a Assault Soldier and making good progress. I wondered if I should have gone defensive and levelled all that up to minimise damage before levelling equipment. Now I'm level 8 I'm not sure I should delete and start again or wait for the points to get high enough for respec.

What would others do?

I'm an assault Repair kind of guy at present.

I bought it this afternoon. (Yeh. Valentine's day. Incurable romantic, me. )

Then went online, and "bought it" several times before I got my first killz

Only played it for a couple of hours so far, I like what I saw, and I'm not generally one for FPS. I'd be happy to join a TOG clan for numbers - is there an "Orange boy" rank?

I ended picking SVER as my faction.

With the skill points tho I recommend spending your first couple points into the medic tiers, and get the resuscitation skill or what ever its called. The tool that brings your teammates back to life.
Every time you use it you get a bonus 10xp. Good to help you get up through lvl's I found it. Also I think it can be a major game winner. :P

THat works well if you have a good co-ordinated group playing but I have found most people run in and gun, die, bleed out and respawn. I am having to do this more often then not since no one is doing the revive/heal option.

Other then that the game is fantastic. A 128 x 128 online FPS on a console game with no lag. Impressed.
