I respected last night to full medic. I was amaized at the difference in XP. Now I'm not the best of shots at the best of times and Raven's low damage weapons doesn't help.

After respec I went from one game doing 30 - 120 XP. To medic doing 280 XP. I just followed people around and healed/revived where I could. The good point on this is you can level fast and then add those extra skill points to the weapon or abilities you want. re. sniper, assault rifle or heavy weaps. Then when your happy just kit your character out with the enhancements and switch to that style of play.

It's like picking a build in WoW and sticking to it.

I think from memory assault rifle fully speced out with skill points is 30 level. So if I spend 13 on full medic ability then everything else into assault. I would reach full spec on that stream by level 43.

Considering Veterans is level 60 it still leaves a little room to enjoy the character spending any future points in say damage reduction.

Anyone else care to share their experiences and thoughts?

I made a SVER character, plan was to go for a fast and stealthy guy with silenced weapons, sensor jammer, fast charge planting etc. Leveling was so slow though that I put a few points into medic to get the first revive skill again.

It really is the easiest way to level, plus in a big firefight having a heap of medics all reviving each other over and over is a great defensive strategy. Until they inevitably nerf the xp from it I'd say it's a must have for any build.

My SVER account is full support and light machine guns and a few messed up random skils.At 17k for a respec it will be a while until I can fix it.

With Raven I am part commando/half a rez rez and optical sight for light machine guns.

I am a few points off of a respec and I may get the last assault rifle with a 4 x optical scope,silencer.then fill in the entire support tree /medic,repair.

The sub machine guns are great but I am just tired of the lack of damage and having a hard time hitting anything a ways off,trying to look through a tiny peep hole for a sight,when SVER has monster sized ones......

Tonight I got a 500xp game.

I was all over the first aid, set charges, repair and even found some time to shoot people.

Was a great game.

best tips to gain xp fast are

(1) get Medic skills and use them - a lot -resuscitation is better, although if you get this try for the full resuscitation, rather than the half resuscitation.
(2) always be at the Frag0 for double xp
(3) try to get into the Bunker turret gunners position - although this depends on map a lot
(4) RPG the incoming vehicles for xp - 3 well placed RPGs will kill an APC
(5) get into a leadership position -and use the leadership strikes

I think my best in a game (and I've not done any leadership roles so far) is about 1300xp. I also find I get best xp when the two sides are evenly matched, if its a walk over one way or another the rewards arent as great.

Im L57 atm I think, I plan to swap over to Raven after (if) I reach L60 with SVER.

oh and remember if you unlock the full resuscitation skill (the 5 pt one) when you respec you only need to select that one, you dont need to choose the lower resuscitation skill as well - this saves 2 points

Am I missing something in the selections?

Did you say you can jump Medic upgrade, Engineer upgrade, and several in between to get strait to resuscitation level 2.
