Blur is the ultimate racing experience, dropping you into heart-pumping, electrified in-the-pack action with 20 cars targeting the finish line and battling each other as they trade paint. Intense power-ups, including the ability to blast other cars out of the way with huge bursts of energy, as well as defensive shields, nitro speed boosts, and landmines create realistic damage and destruction.

this looks like an awesome game, i would say its like burnout and mario kart put together, you pick up items and shoot them at other players

They had a beta for multiplayer running on the XBox and I played it a few times .. not a bad game at all and generally alot more fun the more players there are online. They only had a couple of tracks unlocked at the time but it looks like it has potential

Reminds me of Midtown Madness on the original Xbox, which is still one of the best racing games I've played online.

I had been playing the beta since I got the invite and loved the game. Was going to get it tomorrow, but Red Dead pretty much put an end to that.
I loved the beta and can see myself picking this game up down the road. Hope there is some good DLC in the future.

It's Mario Cart meets WipeOut meets PGR

Sooooo much fun, even in single player!

Firstly, let me state that I have no opinion one way or the other with regard to Blur. I'm fairly indifferent to most racing style games.

I have, however discovered that not all people are thrilled with this game. The gentlemen at Penny Arcade, for example, appear to have some issue with the game. Although the article goes on at some length, here is the short version:

Just been playing split screen with my flatmate, and it's so entertaining.

Tried to go online splitscreen and it wouldn't let us though

this is one game id like to play and possible matches if the majority wanted or even just some casual fun games
