I cannot begin to describe the intensity of my indifference to this news.
 Ok, yeah, I know lots of people love the series, but I have tried a few times to play these games, and cannot find a single redeamable feature to warrent parting with my hard earned. Of course, I will fight to the death to defend your right to play it. :P

I generally liked the FF series... just not this installment.
Even so, it clocks in at around 40+ hours, so if you're looking for something to do and absolutely must play every Final Fantasy game, then this is a pretty good deal.

I found the main game and story a bit meh, the constant hallway running and spamming X to win was stupid, felt like the game was playing itself.
Gran Pulse at end game was fun though, just messing around, collecting materials to upgrade gear, trying to max out all characters and doing the Titan's trials were a blast. |

I dunno, I liked it. Even though it was linear it moved the story along well. It was nice when the exploration opened up on Gran Pulse at endgame though.
