I hear what you are saying mate. Sometimes going back can kill the experience (Are you listening George Lucas!?!?! .... sorry I digress).

There are a few games I have gone back to that I have been disappointed with second time around, movies too.

I remember being so scared of the movie the Exorcist when I was a kid. I would have sworn on a stack of bibles (heh now that's irony) that it was the scariest movie ever.

I watched it again a few years back ... I fell asleep
