PS3: Borderlands

Has anyone got this game? I picked up a cheap copy and have played a bit, it looks heaps of fun and it offers split screen and network coop multi-play

Been thinking of it but waiting for the price to drop more as it's not on my wish list.

Borderlands is great. I've played through the main game as well as the Zombie Island and General Knoxx DLC and they are both well worth it. Haven't tried the Underdome DLC yet, and I believe a fourth installment is due out shortly.

I find it amaizing how many DLC are being developed for games these days.

Dragon Age has I think from memory 6 DLC's which when combined would be the cost of a new release.

Wonder if either of these will release a game of the year type disk with all downloadable content included.

Gearbox announced Borderlands GOTY about a month ago, has all four DLC packs and is due for release October 12th in the US, probably the same in Europe and Australia.

I pre-ordered it on Steam before they jacked up the price and have bought all the DLC as soon as it was released. Not many games have held my interest for this long to be honest, so it's doing something right Looking forward to the sequel, hope they improve some aspects of the co-op.
