PS3: Battlefield Bad Company 1

Saw it today for $26 in EB....is it worth picking up and does it have an active online community still? I'm currently addicted to the 2nd one on PC so was curious about it.

I picked this up a little while ago and from what I can tell, it is still pretty active online. Of course, most everyone who is still playing it seems to be quite high up in the ranks, but at least they're still playing. IMO it's quite worth the bargain basment price... if for nothing else the single player is still quite enjoyable.

Yep I played it religously for months , Im not a console player by nature so I did have to organise myself a K&M setup but it was worth it . I have recently bought another copy of BC1 as the first got trashed . I will relive some of those fun BC1 days again over christmas . Hope more of the maps come out for BC2 , I loved the golf course map and very glad Oasis is coming too .

Yeah that's my biggest issue with it, I simply can't get the hang of the controls on PS3...i takes me ages to aim at something.

Keyboard and Mouse setup. Most are not perfect but can be slightly more useful for those of us accustomed to playing on a PC.
